Includes the original deluxe hardshell case and a free setup from our team of luthiers. Ome Banjo Company, based in Boulder, Colorado, makes some of the highest quality American made banjos and have been doing so since the late 1950's. Bright, clear and articulate, this is the sort of Bluegrass banjo that cuts through a jam, with a nice woody undertone in the lower register that is very satisfying. This has been fully inspected and set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta Georgia. This banjo was built in OME’s small 3-craftsperson shop using. Aged hardware and a wooden armrest add to its fine looks. The curly maple neck has a scooped ebony fretboard with beautiful pearl & abalone inlays. The Walnut neck and resonator are absolutely stunning, finished off in a polished lacquer finish which looks classic. This is a gorgeous OME Sundance 5 string Banjo which is Made in USA. OME’s North Star openback banjo features an OME Vintage brass tone ring fitted to an 11 2-ply maple rim to produce the clearest and brightest tone of their old-time banjo lineup. Featuring a Megatone HG50 topne ring, paired with a 3-ply Maple rim, this flathead sounds and looks fantastic. Young Dhanis first instrument was a Wendell Hall Ludwig banjolele with a white whalebone.
